Safety and SDS

RELTEK Safety and Health Commitment 

It is the policy of RELTEK to provide a safe and healthful workplace.

All employees are instructed in safety practices by means of the documented RELTEK Safety and Disaster Manuals given to each employee upon first hire.

This attention to safety, also covers in detail the operation of manufacturing equipment and processing tools. Instruction in safe daily working practices is emphasized by all supervisors and managerial personnel both by observation and instruction.

Additional safety and health procedures are documented in the RELTEK IIP Manual (Illness Injury and Health Program) and also reviewed by each employee upon commencement of employment.

Product Safety

Attention to customer safety with respect to our products and formulation is paramount either on a direct contact basis or with written instruction and descriptive material supplied with the respective product.

Environmental Considerations

Environmental considerations are always observed throughout all of our documented Quality Assurance manufacturing and material handling procedure.

OSHA / CAL OSHA

All safety and health practices as defined in the official booklets are followed and monitored.

SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDS)

All products with hazardous properties or elements have an SDS which by law is available from the product’s manufacturer. The granular level of visibility into the chemicals used in a product begins with an SDS.

All shipments include an SDS as applicable to the product ordered.
Should you otherwise need a copy of a particular SDS, you may use our request form and one will be automatically emailed by the system after clicking the "Submit" button.

It is intended to provide workers and emergency personnel with procedures for handling or working with that substance in a safe manner.

Information such as physical data (melting point, boiling point, flash point, etc.), toxicity, health effects, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment and spill handling procedures are all defined

In the event our products are intended for use in implantation in the human body, you are hereby advised that RELTEK has not performed clinical testing of our products for implantation in the human body nor has RELTEK sought, nor received, approval from the FDA for the use of our products in implantation in the human body. It is your responsibility as a manufacturer of any such device, to ensure that all materials and processes relating to the manufacturer of any medical device fully comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules regulations and requirements as well as any such laws, rules, regulations, directives or other orders of any foreign country where such product is sold. If you have not undertaken the necessary investigations to ensure compliance you are advised not to use our products in the manufacture of any device which is to be implanted in the human body. No representative of RELTEK has any authority to change the foregoing provisions.
